Things I Love
by Thomas Robb
It is not wrong to hate, in fact you cannot know what true love is unless you do hate. That is the way the last editorial began. Because there are certain things I hate, I find that there are things that I love. The word love has been so used, mis-used and misconstrued that the true meaning of love is virtually lost in a world of falsehood. What is love? Some one will say “God is love.” But is that true? “Yes” would be the reply. But isn’t the meaning of God so confusing to most people that simply saying God is love, actually, not only leaves us more perplexed of what love is, but even leaves many utterly confused of WHAT GOD IS.
To really experience the true meaning of love, we will have to first have an experience of what God is. Jesus Christ is the beginning of that experience. He alone can begin to unravel in your mind not only the meaning of love, but also of God. With this comes an understanding of God’s program yesterday, today and tomorrow.
Certainly GOD IS LOVE. But what is God? That only can be revealed by a relationship with God’s son Jesus Christ.
First to know love and the meaning of God, we must realize that our FIRST love must be to our father whose name is Yahweh. If our love is to him and we are sincerely seeking to please him then we shall do things that are right, say things that are true and live the way he wants us to. We learn to love those things which be tells us to love, and turn from and dispise those things he is against. We seek to be LIKE HIM. We will ever be seeking and striving to serve him in righteousness. To say we love God and yet say we are against capital punishment, we are in error. God himself created and ordained the use of capital punishment. (Gen. 9:6). To say we love God yet see nothing wrong with Sabbath breaking, we are also in error. God is the one that established the Sabbath as a day of rest. (Ex.29:8-11). To say we love God and yet say there is nothing wrong if a man wants to be a homosexual, that it is up to each individual, we again are in error. God condemned it and says that he shall be put to death. (Lev. 29:13). To say we love God, but do not seek to walk in the law of God our statement of love to God is in vain (John 14:15) for God gave the law for us to walk in. (Eph. 2:8-19).
Therefore to know what love is we most search the scriptures and by so doing we will find the rule to measure those things which we are to love and those things which we are to hate.
Using the Bible as my guidepost and the Holy Spirit as my guide, I would like to state some of those things that I love. I love them because they are good, right and worthy of love. They are things that Yahweh would want us to love. But most of all I love them because I love God.
1. I love Yahweh, the almighty one of Israel. He is my father and my creator and he loved me before I first loved him.
2. I love Jesus Christ, the Son of Yahweh. I love him because he is my rock, my refuge, my high tower, my comforter, my fortress, my strength and by the shedding of his blood for me on Calvary he became my saviour, the deliverer of my soul.
3. I love to see a small child. It is beauty to my eyes, it is a wonderful work of the almighty.
4. I love the law of God, it is the apple of my eye (Ps. 7:1-3). It was given as a blessing to Israel if she will walk in it.
5. I love the United States of America.
6. I love to see “Old Glory” flying high in the wind. It is the banner of Israel, a joy to behold.
7. I love the white race. It is Israel, God’s holy people, which he set above all people on the earth. (Ex. 19:5).
8. I love the Holy Scriptures. It is God’s word revealed. Both the old and new testement are of equal value to a longing and wandering soul.
9. I love the countryside. Mountains, streams, meadows, fresh air, anywhere, just as long as it is away from the Babylonian conjested cities. I love to be away from it all. In a place where you can regain your purpose and proper outlook on life. In other words, I love to be alone with God.
10. I love to see men and women stand faithfully for the faith once delivered unto the saints. (Jude 3).
11. I love to hear God praised. (Psa. 9:1).

14. I love the sacred name of the Almighty, the self existing one, Yahweh is his name.
15. I love the fellow saints of the faith (John 13:35) for thity are those that wait upon the Lord. (Ps. 37:9).

19. I love my wife Muriel, she was given to me from the Eternal, her worth is far above rubies. (Prov. 31:10).
20. I love my two children, Rachel and Nathanael, they are a gift from God, they are an heritage of Yahweh and His reward. (Ps. 127:3).
21. I love my parents. Robert and Elda Robb of Tucson, Arizona. Because of their faith in, love for and teachings about Jesus Christ. I came to know him in early years. The scriptures say, “Honor thy father and thy mother.” (Ex. 20:2).
22. I love my neighbor. It is a commandment of God. (Lev. 19:18).
23. I love those which speak righteousness. (Pro. 16:13).
24. I love the nation whose God is Yahweh, even Israel whom he has chosen for his own inheritance. (Ps. 33:12).
25. I love peace. Not what is being pawned off as peace today, but true peace, that which is righteous and in harmony with God.
26. I love righteous judgements.
27. I love the throne of David. It was established by the eternal to all generations. As long as the moon shines by night and the sun shines by day. God said there shall be a descendant of David who shall occupy it. Queen Elizabeth sits upon it today. Soon Jesus Christ shall take over the reign of government, then the kingdoms of this world will become the kingdom of Yahweh and of His Christ.
28. I love to see a sinner repent and come into the void of the Eternal. (Luke 15:10).
29. I love the old, old story of the saviour who came from Glory.
30. I love the workings of the Holy Spirit, it is the power of the believer.
31. I love the kingdom of God. (Matt. 6:10,33).
32. I love and look to the day when all things will be restored. (Acts 3:21, Eph. 1:10, Col. 1:20).
33. I love the salvation given by Yahweh through Jesus, it is a gift, “not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Eph. 2:91).
34. I love to see a family moving back to the land. Preparing both physically and spiritually for the evil times that are ahead.
35. I love the fruit of the Spirit, they are Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness and Temperance. (Gal. 5:22-23).
36. I love reading the Holy Scriptures. (John 5:39).
37. I love the armour of God, it should be in constant use. (Eph. 6:13-18).
38. I love to study the word of God. (2 Tim. 2:15).
39. I love the New Covenant. It was made with the House of Israel. (Heb. 8:8-12).
40. I love the meek, “for they shall inherit the earth.” (Matt. 5:5).
41. I love them which hunger and thirst after righteousness, “for they shall be filled.” (Matt. 5:6).
42. I love the merciful, “for they shall obtain mercy.” (Matt. 5:7).
43. I love the pure in heart, “for they shall see God.” (Matt. 5:8).
44. I love the peace makers, “for they shall be called the children of God.” (Matt. 5:9).
45. I love them which are persecuted for righteousness sake, “for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” (Matt. 5:10).
46. I love to wait on Yahweh. (Isa. 40:31).
47. I love and rejoice in the fact that unto Yahweh, every knee shall bow and all the seed of Israel shall be justified, and shall glory. (Isa. 45:23-25).
48. I love the peace given by Jesus that passeth all understanding. (Isa. 26:3).
49. I love the wonderful mercies of Yahweh. Without it, Israel would be no more (Rom. 11:1) and I would be lost, without hope in the world.
50. I love to see people giving themselves to Jesus, fleeing the cities and preparing in the country for the day. Eating organic unchemicalized, unpolluted foods and striving to obey God and His laws. Then using their spiritual and physical resources to cry aloud, sparing not, lifting up their voice like a trumpet to show Israel their sins and transgressions. I love to hear them then proclaim that “Babylon the great is fallen.”
What do you love? There are many things that are worthy of love and many people say they love those things. Yet they also say they love things which God says we are to abhor. Love is not an end in itself, but we must love the proper things and hate the proper things, and all our love and hate must be in harmony with the Holy Scriptures.
My prayer this day is that you list the things you love and the things you hate. Then with the sacred scriptures before you study to see if the things you love are worthy and just. Also see if the things you hate are the things God also abhors. If you do and keep them in harmony with holy writ and act upon them, God will bless you for it.
